Ways to Honor our Beloved Pets
There are three alternatives that we could choose from:
1. Cremation - and the use of Urns. The Advantage of using this option is that you could always put the Urn anywhere you want it, so long as it is not within reach of children.
2. By burial - and use of coffin. You could bury you pets in a pet cemetery or at your backyard. However, if you are just renting your place, the owner might not consent to it. So better ask for permission. If you are the land owner, by all means do so. There may be issue against burying pets in your backyard. So check that out. But frankly if you'll ask me. I don't care what they say. I will do what is best for my pet.
3. Direct bury - while others chooses to bury their pets direct to the ground, it is recommended to have them inside a plastic. It should be buried deep enough so that scavengers will have difficulty unearthing the decomposing remains.
There is no right or wrong here. Whatever your choice is, what matters the most is that you put your heart in it.

How Deep is the Burial Site
It is recommended that it should be between 3-4 ft. Place a marker. Now if the land is not owned by you. Any marker will do, do this so you would remember where exactly to go to visit your beloved pet.
